Yeah, remember the Chelsea Bennett case? 2-3 white teens were charged in her heroin overdose. Her "best friend" getting 20 years after pleading guilty.

I personally think that every parent should randomly test their teenagers for drugs periodically. Kids are prone to give in to peer pressure to experiment and before a parent realizes it, their kid could be an addict. I like to think this helped and is helping my teens stay away from drugs.

That is pretty good thinking, Ansley. Did any of your kids object (I would assume not)?

They did not. My now 22 yo daughter wasn't very pleased at 17, but she got over it and later told me "thank you" for making sure she wasn't doing something troublesome. My 17 yo son remains unhappy...

Call me cold hearted but I have ZERO pitty for people hooked on drugs and find themselves 6 feet under. Its a personal choice you made nobody else.
