That time has come that I can FINALLY say, great job Governor Deal! While I would like religion to be out of government completely, I'm really glad to see the Governor using it to at least put those nutbags back in their place. He actually made sense - I might not agree with what you are doing, but who am I, as the government, to tell you not to do it when it isn't harming anybody else?

It's not at that stage yet. Only the Senate has passed the Bill so far. The House still has it in committee. I guess this is a preemptive strike to let them know that this thing better not end up on his desk.

Because once the house and senate have both passed it, a fair amount of irrevocable damage has been done. It's in the governor's, and all of our, interests to have the legislature do their job and moderate the extreme influences within that body.
