Gosh. I thought traffic was only problematic OTP and that everyone ITP took transit. Go figure.

I think it's partly due to poor traffic light timing. At quite a few intersections, both ITP and OTP, it's practically impossible to get out during evening rush hour without some assistance.

I'm getting ready to submit a request on Atl311 about the timing of 2 intersections on Ptree St. downtown.

The intersections at W. Peachtree St. and Baker St. are never green at the same time. It's impossible not to have to stop at one of these consecutive lights.

Not supposed to be like that.

I do not think the timing of the lights is that bad, but the level of traffic is heavier than originally expected. Surely, a few minutes could be spent updating the traffic light timing.

I am sure there are more offices, retail places, etc. than what existed when these narrow streets were planned, As I understand it, taxpayers are not financing the traffic control.

I have seen some horrible judgment calls about who should have the right of way for what length of time ITP, but it's really not that bad ITP. OTP, it's almost like every person fends for themselves so the minor ITP delays from officers are basically a big stack of nothing.
