Good grief. Really, guys? This is a good score for Midtown. You all don't have vices you're willing to spend a little extra money on?

The kids will probably stick with the sickly sweet drinks at regular Starbucks locations.

If I'm not mistaken, the Ansley Square Starbucks tested this concept, serving these types of coffees at their side bar. I liked the coffee and I don't recalling it being all that pricey.
Now, what a lot of folks don't realize is that Costco's Kirkland brand coffee is roasted by Starbucks. It's really a great deal! Lots less expensive than even the bags of 'bucks you can purchase at grocery stores.

What an absolutely bizarre thought process.

Do you have children? If not, revisit this when you do.

I love it! People can spend their money however they choose too. Midtown soaring! Winning!

That's up to you to teach, isn't it?

I'm trying to understand, but can't you just teach them that it's a premium product and if they want it, that's okay, but the consequence will be giving up something they could have purchased with the $2 or $3 they would have saved by buying cheaper coffee? I don't think they'd get the feeling they necessarily believe they deserve it.

If you just drink water, it's even cheaper. But go ahead and keep throwing away your money on some burnt beans to flavor your water. Man, I hope my children don't see how wasteful you're being by drinking anything other than water. I don't think they could handle it, since they can't make decisions for themselves.

I do.
I make my son learn the value of a dollar by making him earn them.
Amazing how you don't want to spend your dollars if you only get them in trade for work.
