Hello, does anyone know a place to have a wedding dress dyed in Atlanta or surrounding areas?

Have you checked any of the numerous places that do clothing alterations?

Usually that refers to sewing, but might also could include dyeing, hopefully.

quick! call an ambulance!

in all seriousness from what i've read it's not a good idea to dye a wedding dress because the materials aren't consistent and the dye works better on some materials than others; it might end up a splotchy mess with lighter and darker shades.

I just needed it the faintest shade of baby blue. I know this girl that needed a dress for her sweek 16. Her family does not have a lot of money. I had a wedding dress she could use. She was assaulted last year and I just wanted to do something really special for her. She deserves to look like a princess. I guess she could just leave it white. It's better than nothing. She'll look very beautiful either way.

There are some sewers on the Hobbies and Recreation forum here. Maybe one of them can help out with a suggestion to make it less wedding-like. Good luck, that's a nice gesture you're making.

and i found one in oregon, although it looks like the site is 20 years old, so it might not be active anymore:

Have you tried a bridal shop? Brides by Demetrios (Buckhead) does all sorts of in-house alterations for both their dresses and others. They might be a good first stop since they are the 'I can do it' sort of shop.
