Im not going to lie, this has been the most tame severe weather season ive ever seen since I can remember. Definitely not going to complain as tornadoes give me extreme anxiety (actually lived through one in Montgomery in 2000). The temps are far too low for much of anything to happen here today though. It's like 60 degrees, which is weird as hell in itself.

Missed out in eastern Clayton...again.
Despite all of the numerous recent chances to get drenched by the marauding lines of thunderstorms & showers in the metro, in May we have had 1 occasion of rain for 30 minutes (last night) & 3 small glancing & very brief blows from pop-up showers here.
Everything is damp on the surface at this moment & deceivingly green but last night's rain was the first real soaker this month.
In view of the paucity of May rain on the heels of a very dry April & dry last 3 weeks of March, I'm now to the point of being thankful for any bit that we get down here.

We had 5 inches of rain in 4 hours here in Savannah on Tuesday ... All the streets were underwater.
