I am a 24 year old male and looking for an area with a lot of restaurants, things to do, etc. Could stretch the budget to a little over $1000 a month for a good location.

1. Budget-preferably $950
2. House/Condo/Townhome? Looking for 1bedroom apartment/studio
3. Employment Status(commute/work from home) Working in Tucker, looking to commute no more than 30 minutes
4. Children(public school vs. private) No kids
5. Suburban or Urban lifestyle preference or a mix of the two- mix of two
6. Easy access to public transit, important or not? No
7. Preferable demographics of desired neighborhood.
Preferably around other young professionals, low crime

You want to live near your job since you are new to Atlanta. Check the area west of Tucker, the Northlake Mall area and Embry Hills. You will be close enough to Atlanta when you want to go out

If you could find a place within your budget of $950-1000/month for a one-bedroom apartment, you could live in Intown Atlanta and reverse-commute out of the city (where there are lots of restaurants and things to do) to your job in Tucker.

Search Intown/ITP (Inside the I-285 Perimeter Highway) neighborhoods/urban districts like Decatur, Brookhaven, Lindbergh, Inman Park, O4W (Old Fourth Ward), Midtown, Greater Buckhead, Cheshire Bridge Road corridor, etc. Even check in Intown districts like Poncey-Highland, Virginia-Highland, etc. Also check around the Emory University area for apartments that cater to college students with lower rental rates.
