It's on the same website. Here's a link, though.

That's a Draft, though. From May. I thought they added back in Mechanicsville, and added Krog St?

That is the list I used to create the map.

They did.

That list needs to be updated.

So, I was taking a peak at the CoA page for this November's TSPLOST, and I noticed some maps I don't think i'd seen before.

I wish I could find bigger versions, because I think they do a great job of showing the true scale of transportation projects underway, and about to be underway here in the city.

Yeah but, you need to live near a transit expansion project, and also have that transit be in any way useful to you.

For example, you could live near this proposed Moore's Mill Transit Center, and park there in order to take the bus route from there all the way down to Hamilton E. Holmes then make your way wherever to your destination, but why the heck would most people in that area ever do that? Most people are going to places like Midtown or the Airport or Buckhead. You'd probably be doubling or even tripling your commute time, way out of the way, trying to make any use of that new transit service.

Would be a different story though, if it was something like a BRT that ran along Marietta Blvd between there and Five Points. Or if that was a train station on the Green Line.

Can't stand that one, if you can't tell. NW Atlanta needs a park&ride option, but it should head SE directly into the city, and it should not be a local bus route. At least an express shuttle, or something.

I do not understand the transit center @ Moore's Mill. Without a direct route to a Midtown MARTA station, it has very limited appeal. The only population this seems to serve are those that work off Fulton Industrial

I'm pretty suree it's a premature piece of the overall bus overhaul, which will be more filled out when Fulton joins the expansion efforts.

Am I the only one who is skeptical of the bus overhaul?

The service has been decimated in recent years with services cut or wait times so long in length (65 minutes anyone?) that it almost seems like a token gesture on some routes.

Grant Park is a prime example....whereas previously it had 3 routes serving...it now only has 1 (Bus 32) and that recently has had its frequency cut from 4 to 3 buses per hour during the morning rush (which I've been told was based on some pretty 'loose' rider data).

But come next year there is the promise of the new circulator service. Is this really an improvement or just a worse reinstatement of what previously existed (and I guess was cut due to low ridership)?

I guess my point is if its going to be done lets do it right otherwise in 5 years time the new routes will be running a quarter full and folks will question if the tax increase was worth it.
