You need the $6 billion for new zones to serve that population that is affluent and prefers high-density living and public transit amenities. It's not for poor people. Or was that a rhetorical question?

So, not only did you not see the part where I said that that will happen regardless, but that, to develop as you say, we still need 38 to 74 NEW centers in addition to the current stock to do what you suggested.

I'll say it again: our currently under developed stations WILL receive development, but they WILL NOT be enough on their own. They will not handle the full demand, nor the people expected to move into the city.

That is why we are building new stations.

Unless of course the buses were given dedicated lanes, then it would make an impact. The BeltLine LRT will help tremendously as we see developing sub-markets along it (PCM/Murder Kroger office development) and more dense development along it. Having transit along it and crosstown routes will allow more trips by transit.
We are all aware of the stigma that many Atlantans have towards buses. There are several routes that are very straight and frequent, yet are mostly ridden by transit-dependent riders and not choice riders.
This was a big problem with the GT stinger shuttles back in the day. You'd think that a world-class engineering school would figure out how to manage a basic inefficiency problem...

About the only quick fix to bus bunching is to let the rear bus pass the one in front. That would annoy the riders in the passed bus, but not doing this would just slow both buses more.

Adding more buses is not the answer. I know we on CD like to think we are smarter than everyone else, but I am sure there are very smart people at MARTA.

Is there an easily digestible map out there showcasing the potential projects? I was speaking to a co-worker yesterday and was attempting to find a project map and the "best" I could find was the martamenu.com site. The city's nor moremarta.com seems to have a good map.

I know the city seems pretty confident, but the lack of a good effort in promoting this tax is quite concerning. If anyone knows where a more promotional map is, please let me know.

Actually, MARTA officials have been at public meetings https://www.eventbrite.com/e/terminu...ts-28706975336, NPU meetings, etc. all over the place this month to raise awareness on the vote. Have they ran commercials, etc. outside of social media push? No.
