Former Cobb GOP chair charged with child molestation

You might remember Joe Dendy for:

Quote:
“It is absolutely necessary the (transportation) solution is all about moving cars in and around Cobb and surrounding counties from our north and east where most Braves fans travel from, and not moving people into Cobb by rail from Atlanta.” -Joe Dendy, chairman of the Cobb County Republican Party

Amen brother, and although both sides of the political leadership spectrum are guilty of this kind of aberrant behavior, it just feels like it happens more with the repubs. I just find the hypocrisy stunning, especially from those who are always preaching, family values and wrapping themselves in the teachings of the Bible, while they are at it.

Just disgusting, and of course the ultimate victim, are these innocent kids who certainly didn't deserve any of this, and are taken advantage of by low down predators, like this guy.

Well said & you beat me to it to bring up the gop embrace of the "Family Values" theme as a political weapon!
My response to that famous gop mantra has always been, "Whose family values?", especially given that the politician who pushed that meme so effectively in the 1990's was our own Newt Gingrich.
Any long-time political observer in metro Atlanta knows Newt to have had a history of infidelities, ugly divorces & multiple marriages. Nevertheless he has grandstanded on the "Family Values" theme. What a hypocrite!
