The demands the NFL it's on host cities are not worth the benefits. The NFL should be ashamed of itself.

Unfortunately that is the world we live in today...it's not enough for a city to be an attractive place to headquarter a company or hold an event, but cities have to give back a lot just for the privilege. It should be enough just to have the Super Bowl played at our beautiful new stadium. I wonder if other recent host cities had similar requirements or was it enough just to be played there?

Of course other cities had similar requirements! Did you read Sunday's AJC article about the demands the NFL places on host cities? This is not unique to Atlanta.

Like it or not, sports are big business and you have to be willing to play the game if you want to be in the spotlight. I'm not making excuses for the NFL (many of their demands were absolutely ridiculous IMO) but there's really no way at this point to say what lasting impact this will have on Atlanta and Georgia. But if it's just a fraction of what the 96 Olympics brought, it will be huge.

Well first they have to get to the Super Bowl again, to blow a 25 point lead. Being that Atlanta will now get so many Super Bowls hostings in our city because we are so progressive there may be a chance the Falcons will finally play a Super Bowl in its own city. How cool would that be?
