New Connection to Eastside Trail! // Atlanta BeltLine
Quote:
You will soon have one more way to access the Eastside Trail! Visitors to the Atlanta BeltLine have been using the hill at Ralph McGill Boulevard as an unofficial access point since before the trail even opened. Perennial Properties, the owners of the Telephone Factory Lofts, are installing a public access trail from the road below. The access point will give users an easy way to get to the Eastside Trail from Ralph McGill.

Great! That's kind of steep. Hope they can find a way to make it ADA compliant.

I like this.

Is there anything on the other side of the glass at this point?

If current Beltline behaviors are any indication, the whole staircase will be mostly blocked by a group having a conversation while a dog on a retractable leash creates a trip line.

Seriously though the spittle slot up the middle is cool.

Here's hoping for the best!

Someone on the subreddit posted this: https://youtu.be/7j1PgmMbug8

Pretty nifty, and it'd be interesting to see if they ever got considered for some of the worse hills around here as cycling gets a bit more popular.
