I don't think there really has been that much in the way of condos getting built - everything major so far has been apartments. There have been some high-end condos going up, but nothing with a ton of units. I think there is a lot of demand right now for condos, so I don't see a bubble coming for them.

Do you mean on an empty lot, or are they building over Front Page News, Luxe, etc. There are plenty of empty lots left in that area, and those businesses are booming most of the time, so it would be really disappointing to see them gone in the name of condos. That's midtown's party district - we really can't keep bulldozing those entertainment centers of the city. Also, Front Page News has a great patio.

Beautiful Bldg! But will this get built? It's only a proposal! So many bldgs get proposed and then only a handful secure financing and get built.... I won't get excited until I see "approved" and a site selection confirmation. And I agree, city cant keep demolishing all the entertainment venues.... What will people have for the last part of live, work, play...

Forget the height, how will this project interact with the street level and continue to promote that growth?

Don't worry it's replacing the Crescent Street Apartments next to lure

Just read that it's proposed to go at 1122 Crescent Ave where Crescent Place Apartments are, so Front Page News and all the other venues are spared.....for now.

True, but Midtown has been on a roll. You could actually say that only a handful of proposals DON'T secure financing and get built. Right now I can only think of a few proposals from the last 5 years that seem dead. The rest that haven't started yet are actively moving their way through permitting.
