Based on your area of work and other criteria,

I recommend the following areas:

1. The Parkview High Cluster in South Lilburn and East Lilburn

2. North Decatur in the area around Scott Boulevard and DeKalb Industrial Way

There are quite a number of Indian famiiies in Dunwoody, including a neighborhood Indian grocery and restaurant on N. Shallowford.

Thank you for the response.

I am ideally looking for an apartment than house for renting. also i want to keep it close to my work place so i can travel by public transport.

Is there any particular establishment near Dunwoody station where i can find Indian families?

Sam

As much as I love Gwinnett County. Staying in Dekalb will be better for public transport.

Here, there don't seem to be too many highly localized areas for specific ethnic groups. There are broad areas, but not completely segregated communities. The northeastern area of metro Atlanta is all pretty diverse especially along the I 85 corridor in Dekalb and Gwinnett counties.

You'll be working in the North Druid Hills area in northeast Atlanta. Adjacent to NDH is the community of Oak Grove, which is an excellent and family friendly neighborhood. If you are doing research on the area, look for zip code 30345 and either Oak Grove or Sagamore Hills Elementary Schools.

I don't know of particular complexes, but the people at the Hindu Temple of Dunwoody could probably give you some recommendations.
