Ask them. But no part of I-85 is within the city of Brookhaven.

The Brookhaven city boundary originally included the interstate (and bridge) at that location. It was dropped from the map of the official charter at the behest of the Georgia State Patrol back when this was going through the legislature.

A major project ($25mil) for NDH from Buford Hwy to Briarcliff was included with the 2012 TSPLOST proposal that failed miserably

Again, North Druid Hills is a State Route GDOT is the governing authority for its design and any improvement to it.

Emory won't be at Executive Park. Children's Health Care is eventually moving out of Druid Hills and moving their hospital there.

I forgot about that. That is tied into the Hawks training facility.

Not really. I've seen the preliminary site plans, and this will be going into the center of Executive Park. It's a tight, very urban proposal.

When I was there a few months ago, they were doing quite a bit of work already. Looks pretty major. Just whatcwe need. More traffic.

Douglasville is another prime example.

You think the Brookhaven popo wouldn't be sitting under that overpass with fangs bared if it were so?
I think this is the case with the City of Marietta and the Kennesaw Battlefield Park area as well.

Emory has been using Executive park as long as I can remember - at least since early 2000's and in four separate buildings that I know of.
The Spine Center, Emory Healthcare's Information Services, Neurology, and Pediatric Orthopaedics are there. There may be other things, these are just off the top of my head.

Exactly! One thing I noticed in the plan that I liked though was a big roundabout for the complex as soon as you turn in off of NDH.

The plans are on the scale of Cox's Perimeter HQ's, only tighter and more urban with a commons area in the center. I just can't imagine the additional traffic this 1.2 million sf of space along with the Children's complex across the street will generate. I'm picturing Pill Hill at rush hour all day long along NDH, Briarcliff & the 85 access roads.
