Get back with us when the first Brookhaven rep is thrown in jail like all the Dekalb criminals.

Personally, I'm hoping we eventually get one of those "start-up" cities for Druid Hills. There's a petition asking for better police protection going around. That will get nowhere with DeKalb and absolutely nowhere in Atlanta.

And DeKalb Schools for all its mess, just has better options than APS and its bureaucracy usually knows when to leave well enough alone, unlike APS. And you pay more in taxes for that APS/COA mess.

And I will add that Jeff Rader and Kathie Gannon have always been responsive when I've made requests. They've been outvoted a lot in the past.
Rader is always responsive to their white constituents because I have heard otherwise from non-white constituents in his district in Dekalb...

It should be because Douglasville should not have control of none of those areas east of the Sweetwater State Park.

Based on my and my husband's years of working with Jeff, I would label that accusation false and inflammatory.

How would he know if he didn't meet them face to face?

Just the incorporated parts of Druid Hills and Morningside that spill over onto the DeKalb side and into District 2. Emory, too, in due time.

Wonder what that is population-wise, LD? My guess would be around 30,000 people or so.

It would be pretty absurd to pay for the very expensive configuration approaching and connecting to Lindbergh for a single station at Cheshire Bridge (maybe Piedmont). It is very clear the Clifton Corridor wasn't meant to be funded by the city on its own. It left the option open to contribute some funds to a multi-jurisdictional project if that possibility occurs.

It says that directly in the slide, there is no other way to interpret how the Clifton Corridor is to be funded.
