I notice the adult book store Peek a Boo roped off lately. Did someone purchase and plan on building there? I can't imagine apartments coming in that spot with the bootleneck of traffic at the intersection of Piedmont Cheshire Bridge area slowly losing its naughtiness. Lol!

Johns Creek; like the Braves, they are moving closer to where their clientele live.

In the case of the Peek-A-Boo, we're talking young men.

Truth be told, half of Cheshire Bridge Road are gay male establishments.

They, too, have a lot of clientele from OTP and other parts of the city. The days when gay folk felt like they had to live in certain enclaves are long gone (fortunately).

That entire section of Cheshire Bridge around the bowling alley is about to change dramatically. Paces Properties has purchased the hideous Intown Suites property, which will be a huge catalyst to the area.

Yes, and they're tearing down the landmark Trust Company branch (designed by Henri Jova) in favor of YET ANOTHER STORAGE FACILITY, for God's sake.

An appeal to save Henri Jova's futuristic 'round bank' building along Monroe Drive - SaportaReport

Looks like the DRC supports saving this building.

My guess is that the proliferation of storage buildings is part of the price we pay for all these new apartments. People want a place to put their stuff.
