Agree. Many of my gay friends are interracial and no one thinks anything of it. In fact, people were more "shocked" when one of my white friends started dating a black guy when I lived in NYC. I've found Atlanta surprisingly more tolerant than people make it out to be as part of the south, and I think the open mindedness can compete with any other well known city like NYC, Seattle, even San Francisco.

I generally find that after living in San Diego and Atlanta. Most men or women who exclusively like a different race in the African American culture generally want nothing to do with their own race. I think something is morally wrong with that attitude. I think it comes from hurt or trying to impress someone for the wrong reasons thinking that particular race is superior. I see all the races as the same. Furthermore, to exclude dating someone out of hurt and not genuine preference is not psychological sound gay or straight. If we going to talk about it, let's do it honestly. This Polly Anna image of most gays or straight being truly together and open in Atlanta is just a fantasy. Its time we get honest.

Its not at the thought that people dont accept interracial relationships but rather how black gays are treated in some white establishments. Its subtle things. Not really overt

Yes because only you are honest about racial relationship here in Atlanta as everyone else who disagrees with you are delusional.

Yes. It would be best if all politician in Georgia were Gay. I would vote for them, just because they are gay. Would really love for Atlanta to have a gay mayor as well. Im totally for everything gay.

No no no Atlwarrior that is not how the hierarchy works. The LGBT must have all of their rights first. Then everyone else in about 20-30 years.

You're managing to take a really homophobic stand in this thread without saying anything at all, really. Was that your plan?

It's sad when someone thinks they're really clever but they make so little sense, no one even pays attention to them.
