I don't think there are any high rise condos in Alpharetta. Check out apartmentratings.com and apartmentfinder.com for available apartments.

There are no high rise condos in Alpharetta that i know of. Alpharetta is extremely suburban. If you want high rise condos look in Buckhead, Downtown, or Midtown.

You may wish to consider renting a townhome...many of them have large master bedrooms and there are a flood of them on the market.

Cumberland, Dunwoody and Sandy Springs have some highrise condos as well. Why are you moving to Alpharetta? Is your job there? You may want to consider Dunwoody or Sandy Springs if that's the case. The reverse commute won't be that bad.

My sister lives in Cumming and Alpharetta is close to her, I am a staff accountant and I will be looking for jobs in Alpharetta because I do not want a long cummute. I heard Sandy Springs is not far from Alpharetta too.

If there's anywhere in Alpharetta that has condos/townhomes, I'd guess it would be on Windward Parkway, Old Milton Parkway, or near the center of town, S Main area. Have you considered Roswell as well? Low on high-rise as well, but I imagine it has more townhome/condo communities.

If you are intent on living in Alpharetta, I would look into renting a townhouse. There is a glut of townhomes for sale there and you could probably find a rental option. They tend to be 2000 sq ft+ so plenty of room for your king bed set.

I would not live in Alpharetta and work in Sandy Springs. They may be geographically close but that commute is awful. It can easily be an hour or more. My advice would be to find a job first, and then decide on where you want to live.

Agreed. The commute from Sandy Springs to Alpharetta is much better. If the OP works in Sandy Springs it's best to live in Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, or South Cobb.
