You're from Philadelphia.
I'm an Atlanta native, whose family came to the area in 1820.
And I'm the one that's confused?

Silly me, I thought that you were making an earnest inquiry into the competence of the actors' accents in TWD. Instead it appears you were just spoiling for a fight.

BTW, do you sound like this?

Wow, what a d*ck.

Not too surprised given the "White Lives Matter" signature.

I don't think the person is confused. If his character is suppose to be from a place that is an hour away from Atlanta, I definitely would not consider that to be the Atlanta area. Many would jokingly refer to it as the boonies.

It jumped the shark when Carol and Daryl flipped the van off the bridge over the Gulch and it landed on all four wheels. It was so bad, my wife and I actually changed "jumping the shark" to "flipping the van."

He is pretty convincing.. he does not overdo the accent. Too often, NOn Southerners will do a Savannah or Charleston accent as a catch-all Southern accent which is very different from the way ppl around Atlanta talk. Rick Grimes is supposed to be from a small town about an hour NW of Atlanta proper.. which would coincide with Cartersville. But I would say his accent is closer to the way people sound around Athens, in fact Rick's accent and speech patterns sound exactly like a friend of mine who grew up in Monroe, GA
