Exactly. Preachers refuse to marry couples for all sorts of reasons and that's well within their rights.

Yes, and we're certainly not obligated to offer a remedy for it.

Admittedly that's not much of a basis for legislation, but you've got certain groups who feel like they are under attack for having negative opinions of others.
Yeah, those poor KKK members and ilk, having to face the judgement and consequences that directly result from their chosen beliefs and actions, like grown adults in a real world full of other people, in a constantly evolving social marketplace of ideas and thought.

Quit imposing your beliefs on other people that do not share them. Period.

How come you didn't make that comment to Primal when he said the same thing ?

I wonder if it could be because of totally obvious context? Wow. Are you even literate?

Instead of being a paint-chip-eating dolt whose apparent main contribution around here is nonsensical, troll-like posts in every other topic thread, you could do the quality of this forum a favor and actually explain whatever your points are in clear thoughts and statements that we could then discuss. Or go away. Enough with the silly repetitive one-liners and trolling.

I get the impression he just doesn't want LBGT people to exist.

Because, unlike yourself, he actually explained exactly what he meant. You have yet to do so, even in the broadest terms. You said something about one way and not the other. So, what do you mean. If you can't explain it, then what you say is meaningless.

Nobody likes to be called out, simply for saying they don't like this or that group of people.

That's the political correctness of the right. They may not like a certain kind of person, but it is cruel to point that out.

If the social conservatives have good ideas, then let those ideas be popular on their own merits, without any government interventions or protections. I'm fine with the Right existing, and contributing to the discussion with what they think is the best way to organize society. Sometimes the Left goes too far (see: political correctness), and the overall course needs to be corrected or stabilized a bit. But, let society naturally figure all that out, laissez-faire style.

I think what you're saying is just "feel good" consolation legislation, might could lead to discrimination. And I think discrimination is fine for the individual to practice in their own life, but not for companies which are providing goods and services to the consumer public, and who have lots of employees working for them of all kinds of faiths and philosophies.

We shouldn't go back to the "your kind not served here" signs in the storefront windows. That's a bit too Old South, right?
