Are you saying our current regulation of Euclidean Zoning is over regulation?

You seem to enjoy picturing me doing naughty things to myself, don't you? It's becoming a pattern.

The truth is, this story has been told countless times, and not one single time has the story line included a developer or land owner leaving things as they are. So, you'll have to excuse me if I'm not naive enough to take a developer at their word.

I'm sure this is another sign it'll be demolished for apartments immediately.

Absolutely; I'm just waiting to hear from the folks who were certain it was headed for doom back in March.

Am I mistaken, or aren't the Theater, shops & the Majestic landmarked?

I'm almost certain that entire block has Historic status. If they try to tear it down it will be like the Save the Fox fight all over again

Oh, absolutely! I hope that we're both right with the protective status bit.

If push comes to shove, I'm not averse to the D.C. facadectomy thing though. It obviously wouldn't work for the Theater, and I hope it would be a last resort.
