NYTimes: Our best guess is that Handel is on track to win the election.

The Dems really need to reevaluate how they look at elections, clearly money isn't everything and a cohesive platform actually means something.

Totally... 100% agree! I was just up there over the weekend visiting friends. They are your typical middle of the road swing voters. They voted for Hillary over Trump.. BUt said they had made up their mind to vote for Handel in the last 2 weeks because of all the outside money pouring in to Ossof and the outside media attention being heaped on Ossof as the Dem "savior" who might be able to flip a red district in a red state. I heard this sentiment repeated everywhere I went. I think this turned a lot of people off who might of been inclined to vote for Ossof otherwise.

They needed a better candidate to pour all of that money into. Ossoff was a light weight.

What was light weight about him?

If by light weight you mean centrist who tried to make everyone happy you are correct, but anyone further to the left of Ossoff would have lost by an even larger margin. But I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to.

Also it looks like the polls were off again. I have said this before. Pollsters since 2008 have started oversampling Democrats and certain minority voters and oversample younger voters.
Once again, The Dems are operating on flawed data

He's liberal but presented himself as a centrist.

Well they should be happy about one thing. Money isn't everything.

And also, there was an incredible turnout for a June runoff of a special election.

Not only that, but they live in an echo chamber where they all pat themselves on the back, blame the other side for everything, and giggle over the ever increasing number of "minority voters" who clearly all vote Democratic.
