Yes, some genius thought it nade sense to shut down more lanes (north and south of the collapse).

I was also surprised to see they had 3 lanes closed in I-85 north of the gap. Maybe they figured they would repave while traffic was lighter than usual, but it definitely adds to the problems now.

Probably the same genius who thought it'd be a good idea to store those spools under the first bridge.

Fun times tonight and Saturday AM evidently if you live near Buckhead or are coming down 400 or 85. Sounds like you'll have to go to NORTHSIDE or down to 14th to get on 75/85 south. All entrances to Buford connector from Peachtree Armour and Piedmont will be closed for some sort of lanes redrawing. Not exactly sure what.

They've been resurfacing as well, so hence the line drawing.

Roads leading to Northside have been packed the past few weeks with people working their way to the connector from Buckhead. The return trip from the kid's school used to take like 12 minutes. Now it takes around 20, all from the Northside intersection.

Heading into Midtown in a few hours. Will I be able to exit 85S onto the Buford connector or is it still closed?

I drove from Norcross to Midtown today. I didn't make it as far down as Buford. I got off at Clairmont and took back roads from there. Wasn't too bad.

Can't tell if the exit from 85S onto Buford is open, but I don't believe it is.
