Given that it is valid until 2017 sounds like they are really trying to increase their cash flow in the short term. If you wanted you could buy 13 passes and use one each month.

I've never stocked up on 30day passes. Is it really possible to buy multiple 30day passes on one card, and they will be used sequentially after they expire? IF so, I will probably buy a several of these...

They could also be trying to encourage higher ridership in the short-run to boost metrics.

Many who get 7 day passes might wait a couple days to start use of their next pass as they don't need it every day. This might discourage some casual ridership in between.

In case this question pops up again, the answer is yes. With this most recent set (that CQ just linked to), you can get as many as 8, if your breeze card has the storage space for it.

As others have stated elsewhere, it would be nice if some form of the 30day pass discount became permanent, since there's so much overlap between it and the 20-trip pass for commuters.

There's an entire thread for it now, and there were plenty of posts on Reddit about it.

In 2015 there were 174,000 vehicle fires on our highways alone, resulting in 445 deaths.

This tunnel fire resulted in no deaths, no serious injury, and minimal damage. Trains will be running normally by morning, and single tracking is in effect now with service already back underway.

Maybe we should try not to be so... happy sounding when there's an issues with our infrastructure.
