Anyone know any background on this? I saw this on WSB the other day day and they said the guy is from Union City.

Seems like he had a lot of weaponry to be out for a train ride.

The defendant was initially taken into custody after two Los Angeles County deputies saw him urinating in a planter at the station, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Department. The deputies arrested him following his refusal to identify himself.

After giving a false name, Goodine told the deputies his identification card was in a duffle bag.

Several weapons and ammunition were found in the duffle bag. (Credit: KTLA)
Deputies searched the bag and found a loaded AR-15 rifle, two loaded 30-round magazines, a loaded .40-caliber handgun with extended magazines, a machete-type knife, a rope and several rounds of live ammunition, according to Sheriff Jim McDonnell.

Impossible. I was told California's strict gun laws would prevent persons from possessing such weapons by making them illegal.

Let's review:

- urinating in a train station planter

- refused to give his name.

-instead of giving his name, he tells the police his ID is in a duffel bag.

-that duffel bag is full of weapons and ammo.

The guy is nuts.

It's not surprising though. Georgia is one of the top 10 easiest states to buy a gun in the country.

Wait, are you inferring that states with strict gun laws haven't actually stopped gun violence? I would be shocked to learn this & will eagerly await your response.

Are you referring to the 8+ million illegal aliens occupying your state?
