How Turner Field turned into Georgia State’s football stadium

This is what Turner Field...I mean, Georgia State Stadium, looks like now:



Not all of the seats you see above will be in use. Here is the seating map; it looks like the upper deck and what used to be the right-field seats will not be used.

They did a nice job on the conversion of a track and field turned baseball, turned football stadium.

It's an 8-year-old football program. Right now it's a bit overkill (even without the upper decks), but they'll appreciate having this nice, large stadium in the decades to come.

Looks nice! Turner Field is quite young but already has a lot of history and lived a lot of lives!
