Watching the 1030 news..weather guys are going into overtime predicting how Atl will be affected. Fb cobb county schools are starting the closed schools frenzy!

If we have tropical storm force winds, as current projections indicate, the schools should be closed.

And the warnings should be getting out even if they're not 100% accurate. After all, what about all those people camping out at the motor speedway, or others in similar situations? They need to know that they may not have gotten out of it like they thought.

Exactly! Better to be safe than to be sorry. The weekend is already here. It wouldn't make sense to wait all the way until Sunday morning to say, "Okay...the forecast should be pretty accurate now. No school tomorrow." I would hope that all businesses close on Monday too but I'm quite certain retail will wait until THE last minute to close business only because it will cost more to stay open than to close.
