This is starting to get absurd. The Feds really should start asking why these pipeline companies have zero redundancy. They have about the same regulatory power over pipelines as they do the railroads, trucking, and shipping.

This problem is not a pipeline "Issue".

The refineries along the Gulf Coast that feed there product shutdown due to the hurricane, The pipelines can't pump product that is not there.

The Real question is why the Feds/States (Environmentalist) have made it impossible for build and/or expand a refinery that would not bankrupt the company trying to build it, and to be able to build it and get it up and running in less then a lifetime. So we have a limited number of refineries and if one or more shuts down for more then a day or two it effect the supply chain nationally.

Stop panic buying. Makes things worse than they actually are. Fill up if you're low, don't fill up just because.

Lol! Environmental rules are the reason for this pipeline shutdown? This is not the first and wont be the last gas shortage. If your life is dependent on a steady supply of exploding dinosaurs you are going to have a bad time, M'kay.

It also feels good to be able to go wherever I want, whenever I want. And not wait 30 minutes at a bus stop in the rain.
