It’s just amazing that no information has been leaked about their decision. Are they meeting on Mars? Lol! I guess we can expect true leaks when the announcement is days away. If it will be on the Super Bowl, I see no way that can be kept a secret to the day of.

Please tell me it's that Kemp has been caught having sex with a liberal illegal immigrant man.

Something about Amazon would be nice, sure.

Could be true. If Abrams wins, I'm sure Amazon would love that. But if Kemp wins, they will probably run away from GA fast.

Amazon would probably prefer a moderate, fiscal conservative who is liberal on social issues (or at least not crazy right wing). Unfortunately, Nathan deal probably represents that the best.

Politics is less important than the overall business environment/climate, cost of living, livability and support by government for growing and nurturing business. Much less. As example, look at the music and film industries that have both thrived during the 2000s. Neither are exactly paragons of conservatism. Business is business. Most who have traveled a bit in the business world realize this. I believe both Abrams and Kemp understand this.

ATL/Georgia is very business friendly, has been for years. ATL has the COL, livability in spades. Despite the traffic issues. Even this is starting to be addressed, albeit slowly and a day late for most of us.

And politics can obviously have an effect on the business climate in different ways, some deemed positive and some deemed negative. Right to work laws is but one example.

In terms of a governor or legislature governing from a hard right position, NC offers some lessons in recent years that Georgia would do well to learn from.
