It may well have been the same kid, or it could have been my mind playing tricks on me, but I felt terrible for making assumptions and ignoring him. I hope he knew it was my mistake and not anything he did. I mean, I AM a jerk who makes a lot of mistakes, but I don't want to make kids feel bad.

All in all, I'd say the kids were pretty cool this year over in Cabbagetown.
Sounds like you fell into the trap of costume profiling.

Haha, yeah I guess so. The two I had confused both had on superhero costumes, and those all look pretty similar to me. Also, my eyesight isn't what it used to be, so I should have given the kid the benefit of the doubt from the start.

But if it was the same kid and he pulled a fast one on me, I guess I'll chalk it up to childhood mischief. I did worse as a kid. At least my house didn't get toilet papered.

Gave out candy from 600 to 745. Closed up shop, walked a few houses down to partake in the annual hallowed firepit, bowl of grits and shrimp and wine.
It was a slow year and everyone noticed.
The clubhouse parking lot was full of families for the hood party though.
