This is the difference between Kirby Smart and Mark Richt. Got them over the hump in 2 years. With the talent UGA has, there's no reason they shouldn't have been in this position a few times in the past 10 years. Also keep in mind, Kirby hasn't even begun to really get his own talent on the field quite yet.

Looks like it's going to be an all SEC National Championship Game.

Let’s get it Dawgs!!!! And I’ll second that opinion about Kirby being the man. No way in hell Mark Richt would’ve motivated the team to come back after being down like that. Kirby is the real deal. Can y’all believe UGA is playing for the chip right here at home? Against Bama no less! It’s bout to be epic next weekend. Folks already saying the ratings will be down, and I get that. The last all SEC title (LSU vs Bama) was a bomb with ratings, and that very well may be the case this time. But....college sports has never seen anything like this. A home game basically for both teams. Tide and Dawgs fanbases damn overlap each other, more so Tide, but the 2 states are so close in proximity and let’s all been honest, Alabama is our cousin down the road. This is about to be one gigantic down home southern party.
