Hey. if it's good enough for NJ...

The Amboys
The Brunswicks
The Oranges
The Caldwells
The Plainfields
The Ridgefields
The Wildwoods

The bottom line is this silliness of thinking a name change, whether it be for a city or a thoroughfare, is going to make its stock rise. It's just putting lipstick on a pig, and people investing in it are simply creating a distraction. I agree with the mayor.
Look how much it did for Metropolitan Avenue...

And the name Allen-McGill is already taken as it is the name of the neighborhood/Downtown district clustered around the intersection of Ivan Allen Boulevard, Ralph McGill Boulevard, and Peachtree Street (boundaries: west of the Buttermilk Bottom neighborhood/district, north of Baker Street, east of Techwood Drive/William Street, south of North Avenue). Everyone knows this.

You already used that, sir.

Allen-McGill
A Downtown Atlanta district/neighborhood clustered around the intersection of Ivan Allen Boulevard, Ralph McGill Boulevard, and Peachtree Street. The district/neighborhood is bounded by Buttermilk Bottom to the east, Baker Street and the Hotel District to the south, Techwood Drive/William Street to the west, and Midtown to the north. Some key landmarks of the neighborhood are: the soon-to-be-renamed Allen-McGill MARTA station, Allen Plaza, and the proposed iconic statues of Ivan Allen and Ralph McGill at their namesake intersection.

ITA. They don't need to overthink it and just need a plain vanilla name because once it's done it can't be changed--something that is hated by the least number of people. I do think they need something other than South Fulton because I do think they need to define themselves more as a distinct city since they've already got the crazy borders working against them. But South Fulton is far superior to Renaissance and some of the other gimmicky options.

I like either Campbellton or Wolf Creek.

I see you are preparing a Wikipedia page for it

Wolf Creek? That's trading one hotel for another.
