I wonder how much more environmentally friendly not having any stadium at all would be?
Quote:
The stadium can power nine Atlanta Falcons games or 13 Atlanta United matches with the renewable energy generated through its 4,000 solar PV panels

Also, this part is a blatant lie. Solar panels are not that efficient to only need 4000 to power multiple events.

As the hater begin to comment, this is
Quote:
• First sports stadium to receive all water category credits, due in large part to a highly-advanced storm water management system
• In aggregate, Mercedes-Benz Stadium uses 47 percent less water than baseline (EPAct 1992) standards due to water-efficient fixtures and conservation infrastructure
huge especially since the stadium is located in a combined sewer area.
Also, all those other transit-connected stadiums and a 'car city' like Atlanta has the highest transit usage by fans!

Not impressed with this stadiums interior at all. Has that dark cave look like the Edward Jones dome in St. Louis. All that money for this? The structures in Indy, Minneapolis, and Arlington blow it away. Swing and a miss, Atlanta.
