Would paying $25 a day for 9a - 1p be reasonable for a mothers morning out program 2 days a week? Pack your own lunch but drink provided and snack provided.

I'd say it depends on where I'd be dropping the kids off- I'd easily let me wife pay $25 to drop the kids off for 5 hours, provided that she was doing so at a licensed, insured, safe facility. If we're talking about dropping them at the house of someone who's just watching kids to make a few extra bucks, that's a different story.

Hey Bob!
Im actually looking at getting licensed to take 5 or 6 kids and wondering the rates out there. We did it here in Alpharetta and it was great. It would absolutely be "curriculum based" with arts & crafts, letter learning, color of the week etc!
But its only 4 hours. I would imagine it would mostly be neighborhood parents since its such a large neighborhood. And it would be all kids in a certain age range. Walking to 4 years

Considering that a babysitter is 8-10/hr I'd say that $25 for 4 hours is a pretty good deal...

I'm thinking you may have a tough time getting licensed to do it out of the house- I haven't looked specifically at the HOA regs for this issue, but I'm not sure it'd be allowed. Holly Springs will also require a business license, so you may want to talk to them about it as well- they may have health code issues to deal with.

How's the house coming? (Like I have to ask- I probably drive past it more often than you do, but I don't know for sure which is yours....lol).

oh well if it doesnt work I will deal with that. It would be considered "home daycare" for licensing purposes.
The house supposedly has siding now I need to go by and check it out on Saturday. We have the "pre drywall" walk through Monday.

its the one on the cul de sac off edgewater
