I don't trust psycho Kemp. He could just be trying to win favor with Atlanta Republicans.

Fair enough. That is something to keep in mind

But if there is evidence of foul play it should be looked into and prosecuted to the fullest. That's not for this most recent election as much as it is for future ones.

I wouldn't think of six months ago as "old wounds." If there were election irregularities, they ought to be investigated and dealt with. People need to be able to trust the electoral process and if there were problems we certainly don't want them happening again.

That said, it's over and KLB won (fairly or not) and is doing an okay job so let's just leave it and let her lead our city. No need to open old wounds that won't change anything.
What has she done, besides PR stunts?

If it was years out, long past the elected person's term was over, I would want it fully investigated and prosecuted. There should be no statue of limitations on election tampering and the penalties should be intense.

Trust me, I'm happy if it overturned everything and Norwood became mayor. I just don't think it will happen and I distrust Kemp.

I am going to make a prediction:

One of these two things will happen:

Bottoms is forced to resign
or
Kasim Reed is indicted

Don't think both will happen but WSB TV and the AJC are all over this in ways I haven't seen since Bill Campbell. This isn't sour grapes. They think something is there and the strange relationship Reed and Bottoms had was and is concerning.

I'm going with the later, the Cascade Rd Mafia is done with Kasim.

On the one hand I don't trust Kemp at all, who someone earlier on referred to as a "psycho", but on the other hand I'm also suspicious that there there may have been election tampering.
Let an HONEST investigation proceed if there are enough signs to warrant it.
However, in view of my own low opinions of Georgia State governmental departments & the state legislature, I harbor doubt if anything in the way of an "honest broker" so to speak exists in Georgia that can truly provide the investigation that may be called for.
