This weather we're getting this year is getting a lot of people sick. It goes from cold to warm and then a rain in between to snow. Haha. I am pretty sure universities will be closed tomorrow and perhaps the governor will close govt. offices. Everything is going to freeze overnight.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed with our neighborhood though. Last month through the help of f.b. Neighbors were out helping each other all week.
Cutting and hauling off trees, helping get cars safely into driveways, lending out heaters and supplies, carpooling kids around..
It was nice.
Yes, it is touching to see neighbors taking time out of their life to help people in their neighborhood. My neighbors were also nice enough to help me.

I did some research. Cold weather can make you more susceptible to getting sick (perhaps not directly but indirectly).

You may be more susceptible for a variety of reasons! Maybe it’s higher in cold air, but fluctuations from warm to cold doesn’t make people get sick
