Hello,

Me again. Quick question.

Should I buy now or wait for better inventory selection around the spring?

I am predicting with the Tax Cuts, low inventory and the Amazon Bid that housing is going to get ridiculous in the spring of 2018 in Atlanta. Multiple offers on everything with huge hikes!

Right now we are in a slight down turn briefly because of winter and the holidays and you can still buy something at a fair price. At least sneak in. Should I buy now or wait?

Note: I also hear rates will be going up. Will this cancel out the TAX CUTS and the market will stabilize or will it be a blood bath in Spring of 2018 regardless.

Do you think my thought process is correct or am I completely missing something?

I'm going to hold off on voting until we get more information. I can see pros and cons either way.

If you are fearful of buying a home, then don't buy a home.

If you are currently renting, then just continue to rent, either at the location you are at now or at another location in another part of the Atlanta metro area.

I think you should plan on being a renter. This is now beyond redundant - it's ridiculous. Your issue is not about real estate; it's something else.
