In most instances you have to be a resident of the property or know someone who lives where the clubhouse or poolhouse is located in-order to rent it out. Try the subdivisions of some of your family who live in the Metro-Atlanta area, they may have clubhouses in their communities that they can reserve for you.

Looking for something to rent in the Atlanta area. I am looking to give my daughter a surprise baby shower in October. We are pretty much expecting around 50 to 100 people (including kids). I am also cooking my own food. I have tried aome calling around to some hotels in the atlanta area, and they state that they do not have a meeting or banquet hall. If someone can give me some websites or telephone #'s to call I would greatly appreciate it.

Which part of the city would be most convenient?

Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation might have a venue--the Pinckneyville Park complex is an option.
