On Howell Mill Northbound at the water plant the trees frame Buckhead skyline like you've never seen before. It looks like a dense cluster and a different huge city!

I've also always liked the view from Piedmont Southbound at Morosgo. Lindbergh development hid former view, but it's still visible from the road behind Home Depot.

It just a few tall skinny towers.

OH MY FAVORITE....

Piedmont Ave northbound just after Cheshire Bridge you descend a hill, and at night the line of Buckhead towers is perched high in the distance.

It very briefly resembles driving up West Side Hwy in NYC at night where the buildings over in Jersey City Heights are perched one after another.

Yeah, I forgot about Jonesboro Rd. I could see the skyline everyday on my bus ride to middle school a while ago, it was awesome. There are two spots you can see it at. The Home Depot at 285 and the plaza with Piggy Wiggly in it (That would be a cool location for a park in the future).

I love that view. The first time i ever saw it, I was coming down the hill of the morningside nature preserve at night in the summer. It was so nice to see the lit up Bank of America tower peeping over all the trees between the electrical power lines. I didn’t expect to see so much open space in a close intown neighborhood.

Thidilli94, You are right about how lucky we are to have SO many forested green spaces within and around out central city; that is what I love about Atlanta.

On a very, very clear day when the conditions are just right, you can see a little bit of ATL skyline from Peachtree Industrial in Suwanee/Sugar Hill at the intersection of West Price Rd, just before North Gwinnett Middle School. I annoy my wife by pointing it out every time it’s visible.

Fun fact: The crest of this hill is one of several points where I-85 crosses the eastern continental divide.

If its a really clear day, you can see Atlanta's skyline from Brasstown Bald. Strictly speaking, that's about as far as you can get from town, and still see it from solid ground.

If you're traveling southbound on 141 towards the intersection with Abbotts Bridge in Johns Creek, you get a glimpse of a couple of square-top skyscrapers.

This view looking east on Veterans Memorial Highway in Mableton has one of those skyline reveals that fills the entire horizon. Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens sits at the crest of the hill and has the best part of these views before you go downhill.
