Here is a Curbed article that I'd thought would be fun to share here.

https://atlanta.curbed.com/2018/1/26...hread-taglines

It's about coming up with a new slogan for Atlanta. Many have heard "The City Too Busy to Hate" and "Everyday is an Opening Day". What slogan would you give? Unlike the Curbed article, I'd say you can go over 6 words but not too lengthy. Here are some of mine:

- The city that tries (especially the sports teams)
- The city that can't get right (sadly it's true. Sports teams, bridge collapse, airport power outage, Mercedes Benz Stadium glitches, the Olympic torch, etc.)
- The city everyone laughs at (because of reasons above)
- The city everyone hates, unless they are from here
- The city that wishes it was (NYC, LA, SF, DC, Seattle, Miami, Denver, Dallas, or insert whatever city people think is great)
- At least we are not (Detroit, Baltimore, St. Louis, Cleveland, or insert whatever city people think is a modcut)
- The Seattle of the Southeast (especially if we get Amazon)
- The mini-American Tokyo
- The anti-Tokyo
- The Detroit of the South
- No longer a murder capital
- A lot safer than everyone thinks
- More than just an airport (that's a reference to a "Futureama" episode)
- Blending the old with the new

I posted on there. Virtually none of the other posters are taking it seriously. Talk about a Troll-O-Rama.

For a city that's so awful, why are there so many damn people here?

Can't use this one. It's already taken:

It looks like Clevelanders, unlike Atlantans, actually have a sense of humor about how bad their city sucks sometimes.

More like "Where it's out with the old and in with the new".

King of the South.

References Atlanta's economic power, culture, and has a little bit of a hip-hop vibe to it.
