But how nice that Chicago can attract the likes of Ozzy Osbourne. Yawn.
Are you really going to disparage Ozzy Osbourne?

I mean, that pretty much destroys any sort of music credibility you might have had.

This is a joke, right?

At any rate, I could care less about him - I was never a metalhead. I'm a new wave guy, and he never appealed to me.

I'm surprised they don't have to prop him up with some sort of device so he can perform without tipping over.

For some reason, the problem does seem isolated to arena acts. Which is odd considering how many of these venues we have (Philips, Gwinnett, Lakewood, Verizon, and Chastain on a smaller level).

I only really care about acts playing those size (or smaller) venues anyway unless it’s a festival. There is no rock band I care about that charges $40+ a bucks a show.

Just because you're not a fan doesn't mean he does not deserve credit for a music career that towers far above most.

And still rockin' at 70!

Are you saying only 10% of rock acts charge less than 40 bucks for a show?

That a top 10 most clueless statement I’ve ever heard unless you are only talking about the most mainstream acts ever and even some of them aren’t that much outside a festival.

Are you trolling?

You can’t be serious because you look at any venues lineup see that.

They do keep him soaking wet so you can't tell that he pees himself every night.

Since you mention festivals... Festivals often place radius clauses in the contracts that restrict bands from doing their own shows in nearby cities. This contributes to the lack of rock shows.

Haven't seen a show in years where ticket prices weren't North of $50. Unless you're talking about no-name acts in a bar somewhere?

Yes, he is. That's what he does, endlessly.

Another bitter former resident that hated it and got out, but feels the need to repeatedly come here to 'put Atlanta in it's place'.

You're being ridiculously obtuse, and you know it.

Shows at theaters and mid-sized venues like Tabernacle, Variety Playhouse, Center Stage, Buckhead Theater, Masquerade, etc. are almost always under $50. And it's not no-name acts that play these venues.
