I am looking to relocate to Atlanta and rent a one or two bedroom apartment. I work as a dishwasher and do not make much money, but I have looked and seen apartments that I could afford, especially with a roommate, as a friend of mine might me moving with me. Also, I don't know if this affects your reccomendations at all, but I am white. I do not have any aversion to living in a majority Black neigjborhood, but I would also not want to live somewhere where there is a resentment towards white people living there. I don't know if this is a thing in Atlanta, which is why I am asking. Thank you for understanding, and for your suggestions.

Will you need to be close to public transportation options (Marta train/bus)?

I would like to stay under $650 a month. Being close fo MARTA is a huge plus, as I would like to avoid driving in the city. I have focused a bit on the neighborhoodssouthwest of downtwon, but I don't want to be too far out in the sticks. Thank you

The brand new apartments that are about to open on the edge of Downtown East Point start at $650. Easy MARTA access.
