OP, I live in Brookhaven. My neighbors who are parents seem happy with Montgomery Elementary (and I also know people like Ashford Park Elementary too), as well as Chamblee Middle and High. If you work in Norcross the Murphey Candler neighborhood would be ideal as it is a great family area and there are multiple routes to Norcross. Plus its near 2 train lines to the airport.

There are also excellent little league baseball and soccer fields in the immediate area.

Great Schools has changed its metric to reflect diversity, I don't know how that translates to a 6 for Sarah Smith. It deserves higher, even with the new metric.
Interesting, bad assumption over here. Would have never guessed that.

One of the things they score on is improvement. SS probably has a little less room to improve I imagine which may impact things. But I may be making another bad assumption.
