Well I just moved here to Atlanta Saturday night. At this moment I am still putting my apartment together. I know this may be a dumb question....by I really don't know where to start. I live in Clayton County near Riverdale Road. What can I use to find the nearest grocery store and Walmart and etc?? I guess my question is what the best way to locate place near me. Ive been driving and driving and driving. Some kind people tried to give me directions, but I just keep getting lost. If you were new to a city what would you use to locate what you need?

Why not get on Google maps, enter your address, then when it pops up click on the "Find nearby" option and type "Walmart" or whatever you want to find?

I second Google maps. And, you can print out a mini-map of your area to keep in your car, so you don't get lost.

Welcome to Atlanta!

I know exactly how you feel when I was navigating around Atlanta this past weekend. Do you have a GPS? That's the only way I found my way around Atlanta. You still have to pay attention to traffic, though.
