Check out Stats which is a high end sports bar with a beautiful rooftop as well as nice interior spaces & tv's everywhere to catch games or sports stuff & Lucky Food Lounge which has great food and is amazing to the eyes.Concentrics Restaurants & LUCKIE Food Lounge - Atlanta, GA. Both cool places with plenty of ambience. Stats also has a pour your own brew tap at selected tables.

From the Max Lagers website: "located on the corner of Peachtree and W. Peachtree". Ha! Only in Georgia.

I forgot all about Luckie Food Lounge- we've gone there several times for lunch, and the food is great. They used to have a Kobe beef hot dog called the "Lucky Dog Running Through the Garden" that was incredible! Of course, for $10, a hot dog should be incredible, right?? The bathrooms there are also pretty cool (that's a bizarre statement, I know, but you really need to see them for yourself).

OP said they'd be wearing athletic clothing.

Luckie Food Lounge's website says: no track suits, sweat pants, athletic gear, shorts, athletic shoes, sports jerseys, etc.

I believe that rule is after 5pm({Because of the amount of families the restaurant receives from nearby tourist attractions) but I would check regardless...

Check out the Sidebar on Poplar Street (I believe) next to the US Court of Appeals. It has a very laid back vibe and has great beer on tap and good bar food. The TVs are also connected to Playstations, so you can play free of charge.
