I'm looking to buy next year in dunwoody/ north doraville for townhome at ~$200k. I saw one just sold for $197k.

Buford is off 85 and has townhomes for ~$187k-195k.

Don't get discouraged; keep looking!

Wow, Dunwoody??! I would never even imagine I could anything over there with 200K; even if it's a townhouse. But I guess you might, it just won't be new. Obviously...

Well...I guess I'm just SO.TIRED. of apartment living. UGH. Which is basically what a condo is. Also, I'm craving private outdoor space for entertaining and grilling, etc. Condo fees are also a concern, as they can fluctuate.

There are quite a few condos in Sandy Springs that fit your requirements. Have you thought about considering a fixer upper? Something that may only need cosmetic work? I just saw a listing in Alpharetta for under $200k that looks like it just needs paint and carpet from the photos.

Maybe think outside the box a little bit in terms of what you're looking for, you might be surprised at what you find. Good luck with your search! You will find something, just don't give up!

Definitely not new. Unfortunately, at this point in the housing market and economy, you won't be able to get new for that low unless its far out from ATL.
