Last year a friend told me they heard about a new shopping complex going up similar to The Avenues (East and West Cobb) at the old Belmont Hill shopping center. I recently passed that way and saw the entire back end boarded up and the front was practically empty. Does any one know if this will be another Avenue plaza?

It's not supposed to be an Avenues type place. It's going to be mixed use with apartments, condos, a grocery store, and other shops.

Here (http://www.tunspan.com/cutsheets/Urban%20Design%20and%20Town%20Planning/Belmont%20Hills.pdf - broken link) are some renderings of the project.
