Congratulations on getting into 3 great schools. Just curious...why did you eliminate Galloway?

At the risk of offending parents who have kids at Galloway, our research showed that Galloway does not have the strong academic reputation that Westminster and AIS have. It is less structured than the others, which works great for our 3 yr old and that's why he will be going there this fall. They are actively working on their marketing to showcase their academic strength more, and I believe their efforts will pay off. Its very loving, creative, has a great small feel, but for our 6 year old, we really wanted something with more of a structured focus on academics and a great reputation. But of course if we have not gotten into AIS or Westminster, I would have sent her to Galloway happily. Its just that when you put them side to side, the others score higher in my book.

As I said earlier, all were great choices, and this was a happy problem to have.

Default decision?

So what did you decide on for schools? My daughter was accepted and will be starting in August in the AIS 4k program. I am interested in what information you gathered from the parents you know at AIS and Westminster as we were accepted to both but ultimately chose AIS mostly because we just felt that it would be a better fit for our family and we were excited about the primary school dual language curriculum
