Are any of you still looking to nanny share? My husband and I are relocating to the Decatur area from Chicago, much like "fromCapitolHill." So far, we've been quite frustrated with our search and have found most places to be booked for at least a year. I start back to work October 14, so am in a time crunch to find a place that we trust to leave our 6 month old daughter. I researched the places mentioned above, but have had no luck. Nanny sharing seems to be the general trend for the area, so I'm interested in learning more about it and trying to find a family with which to share. Thanks for the additional information!

Decatur is such a great place to raise a family. We have been here for over 7 years, and have loved the down home feel of this community. I have been a teacher in the early education field for over 25 years, and can understand the importance parents feel about finding quality early education. I am thrilled that now there will be a balanced full day program here with in the city limits of Decatur. If you are moving to the area this school you must check this school out. Here is the website, Welcome to Smarties Child Care - Smart for Kids. Smart for Parents

Being an educator and mother myself I fully recommend this program to your family. Best of luck
